The Career Foundation is pleased to offer free computer training!
Everyone needs at least basic computer skills in order to succeed in today’s job market. Possessing more than just the basics will only strengthen your résumé’s appeal and give you a competitive edge over other qualified candidates.
One of the services The Career Foundation offers is access to FREE computerized training. This training is done through an online virtual portal that offers training on various software application programs as well as soft skills training tutorials. Certificates of Completion will be provided to enhance your portfolio and marketability while job searching.
Once registered, our clients are able to log in and utilize the courseware to strengthen and build upon their hard and soft skills as they endeavor upon new career and/or training opportunities.

All of our clients are given an opportunity to receive FREE access to this computerized training portal should they wish to receive it.
Information about the courseware training:
- All of these courses are self-study online. You can access them from the comfort of your own home, library, resource centre, or any other place with internet. Please note however that our online computer portal does not support MAC systems.
- Most courses are audio-instructed.
- When you sign up, all the courses are in your account. You simply have to pick the course you are interested in. There are training materials to read and tests that come with learning the software.
- There is no eligibility or criteria for registering for the portal. Anyone can register.
- Information provided to The Career Foundation is kept confidential. We will NOT send spam mail or conduct telemarketing calls. The information provided to us will only be used to contact clients about their account.
- Courses range from beginner to advance level.
- You can even use this account to prepare for your pre-screening employment tests. For instance, if you are going to be tested on MS Word or Excel, you can use this account to complete applicable tests to see how well you score. Even if you fail on those tests, you can retry them as many times as you want until you are satisfied. You can also refer back to read the training material to review what you did not pass on.
- Upon completing the course, online certificates of completion are available to print from your account
Registration Process:
Anyone who is interested in receiving free access to this service must complete a standard sign-up/acknowledgment form.
If you plan to attend one of our programs, you can speak with any of our team members and they will be glad to provide you with the form.

If you do not plan to attend one of our programs but you are interested in signing up for this free service, you may click the link below to download a PDF version of the standard sign-up/acknowledgement form which you will need to complete and submit as follows:
Print the form and complete the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Today’s Date
- Signature
- Telephone Number
- E-mail Address
Once you have completed the above-listed fields on the form, you can fax it to our Courseware Specialist, Miss. Nicole White at 416-781-8837 OR you can scan it and e-mail it to her at nwhite@careerfoundation.org

Once your account has been set up within 72 hours of receipt of your form, you will receive an e-mail confirming your USER ID and Password.
